Covid was removed from the High consequence infectious diseases (HCID) list on the 19th March in the UK. Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and Avian influenza A H7N9 and H5N1 are still on the list. We didn't lock down for those deseases so why did we lockdown for Covid-19?
