Avian flu hits more turkeys in Gratiot County, Michigan
11 months ago by Cancelthis to /s/AnimalRights from wattagnet.com
SEVEN commercial poultry operations LOST in Michigan so far in 2024. USDA pays to kill their birds. The financial compensation encourages poultry farms to test for bird flu, report their findings to the government, and then eliminate all the birds from the farm to receive a payout.

Avian Flu "positive cases" return to Colorado. I can find no mention of any bird actually being sick. (COVID taught us that tests can produce false-positives in the asymptomatic.) Government regulations prevent any of these birds from entering the food supply.
