Are "white" and "black" opposites?

Did you ever see someone whose skin was completely black or completely white? Or are we all somewhere in between? Who benefits from the use of polarising language to describe human skin tone?

its almost like were all the same species. and the idea of race just keeps us divided. but who would want to divide people?
