little annoying bug in the css - horizontal scroll

tested a few browsers - firefox, firefox dev, palemoon and the oxide engine.

at first i thought the css is determining the width before determining the length, because the horizontal scroll was exactly as wide as the scroll bar in my standard browser (firefox dev edition). but the width of the horitzontal scroll didn't change with a wider scroll-bar.

there seems to be some miscalculations somewhere within the css... i always have about ~5px of width i can scroll horizontal - no matter the size of the window.

add opera to the list of buggy browsers. only chrome seems to be not effected. (nobody is using edge... so no point in testing that one xD)

I personally just spent 3-4 hours migrating almost all the language on the site from subreddits to subextremes/subXes, and from reddit to antiextremes. Good chunk of things solved for one day's work, but now I'm going to walk away for a day or two to maintain my balance :)

Still have to change antiextremes.com/subreddits to antiextremes.com/subextremes, which isn't going to be super easy. Then migrating everything from /r/ to /x/ is going to be a challenge. But that's work for another day :) Hope your stuff is going well.

I'm not seeing any horizontal scroll bars in FF 55.0.2. You could try setting a 33% sidebar width in preferences, maybe that will help.

I get the same issue in firefox 56.0.1

No sidescroll for me in chrome (stable)

OP is the scrollbar in the main AntiExtremes page or is it within the chat iframe only?

not related to the chat. (have it disabled, using a stand alone client)

it's in the main ae frame. i'm assuming it's some kind of miscalculation - adding ~5px to much to the width somewhere.
