Do you brush your teeth with hot or cold water?

My wife brushes her teeth with hot water, always has. This is very strange to me (always cold), and was wondering if anyone else does this.

She is arguing that it's how it's supposed to be done and what most people do.

Cold. Brushing my teeth with hot water sounds uncomfortable and weird. Also hot water from the hot water heater usually tastes bad, so I never really put hot water from the hot water heater in my mouth at all

Cold. Tell your wife she's weird cuz that shit ain't normal.

That is a very interesting question! How does one brush teeth with water? I always use a toothbrush. Perhaps you mean a waterpik of some type. I generally do warm water so that it feels more natural.

Sorry, I had meant with warm water and with a toothbrush.

She wets the brush and rinses her mouth with warm to hot water.
