The day I can go to a coffee houses or sit in a library again. That's where I liked to write. It was just about the perfect balance of seeing people without being overwhelmed by them.

I am looking forward to the three day weekend and shooting fireworks. I'm also looking forward to graduating college so I can leave my shit ass job, but that's a long term goal

[–]PurpleAmathea[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

What do you mean by shooting fireworks? By yourself? That sounds really cool so please elaborate.

[–]Girlwiththeraventat 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Nope me and my family will be. Our neighbors said were gonna put on a big show so I'm excited to see that too.

Going to my favorite restaurant and my favorite pub. Hopefully, I'll be able to go to one of them this week.

The day conservative groups like GenderCrit and LGBAlliance turn on the TERFS and start harrassing and making laws effecting them. Trans people are going to have a big i-told-you-so sign waiting for that day

[–]theFriendlyDoomer 9 insightful - 2 fun9 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 2 fun -  (19 children)

That's really it? Nothing involving friends, family, career, or even creative pursuits?

[–]stupidmechanic 7 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 2 fun -  (18 children)

He's a politically correct leftist guy from reddit who's here to either troll or call us names, of course the only thing he looks forward to is political in nature. Probably doesn't talk to his parents because they don't believe in this 'gender is not sex' thing.

[–]theFriendlyDoomer 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (13 children)

In all seriousness, I do find it sad how many families have been broken up by politics over the last two Presidents. I'm not blaming the Presidents, but the decline in social skills -- small talk being one of the most important.

It was like that 100 years ago too, lol

[–]theFriendlyDoomer 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (11 children)

That would put it at 1920. . . Nope. Doesn't check out. People saw their extended families frequently and would say things like "don't politics at the dinner table."

The "lol" is a pretty strong sign you're not interesting in learning anything about it, however.

I guess you don't know much about political history. Thousands of years ago, Greeks and Romans were using language against their political opponents in public debates that would make even Howard Stern pull the plug.

[–]PurpleAmathea[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

Public debates is a really separate thing from encouraging family members to stop speaking to each other, getting people fired, etc. I don't know what they were doing in addition to debating with fiery language (assassinating each other...?) but fiery language alone does not an equivalent comparison make.

[–]StBlops2cel_is_Lord 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

You think families not speaking to each other over politics is new, huh? lol

[–]PurpleAmathea[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

I don't know enough to say, which is why I'm patiently awaiting you providing sources instead of just saying "lol" or citing roman public political debates.

[–]theFriendlyDoomer 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Cuz that was totally 100 years ago. LOL!! OMG! HaHaHA.

[–]StBlops2cel_is_Lord 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Hundreds and even thousands of years ago, people fought bitterly over divided political opinions. Is that better? Stop splitting hairs over words, and deal with the essence of the idea.

[–]theFriendlyDoomer 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Sure, like the respect you give others ideas. LOL. HA ha. HAAHAAHHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHHA.

I do, too. But what kind of insult is 'horse fucker'?

    [–]RecordStory 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Perfect for someone who fucks horses

    [–]stupidmechanic 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Can't deny that lol. But then it wouldn't be an insult would it.

    [–]Girlwiththeraventat 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

    I thought GenderCrit were TERFS?

    [–]DifferentAirGC 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

In what ways is GC conservative?

    [–]RecordStory 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

It's being funded by conservative money and you people are too stupid to realize it https://www.nbcnews.com/feature/nbc-out/conservative-group-hosts-anti-transgender-panel-feminists-left-n964246

You are Pawns in their game all they're trying to do is divide and conquer.

    [–]DifferentAirGC 5 insightful - 3 fun5 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 3 fun -  (2 children)

Transgender ideology is funded by tons of politicians and the Big Pharma.

    [–]RecordStory 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

You've got to be a complete moron to believe this. Any proof? Because I posted proof.

    [–]GConly 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

No, you posted a link showing a conservative group hosted them.

They existed for a long while before that. Radical feminists are so far left half are practically communists. Over in GC there are was an awful lot of disbelief at the betrayal of women's rights by the left.

Most of the women currently supporting the TERF crowd are pretty left of centre, or else Mumsnet types. Not that you shit about this other than what you read in pink news.

    [–]StBlops2cel_is_Lord 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

TERFs are based as fuck, lefty
