      I've experienced some toxicity on SaidIt for my most controversial idea (recently there is a newer segment of SaidIt which is much more toxic than the older one, not adhering to the pyramid of debate well), but at least I don't have to worry about being banned for it. And even still, I actually got a few decent arguments against it too, not just smiting. So that is really nice; maybe I can actually change my opinion about it here instead of feeling horrible for having an opinion I can't find arguments against.

      Having to worry about someone I am interacting with being a League Troll (which led to me not interacting with anyone at all).         I absolutely hate that (and similar dismissals of arguments), in the few times they have happened to me.         The second straw for me is when WPD got blacked. That's not too bad, content wise, because I know most of the sites they get it from. The final straw was cringeanarchy. I'm one of the CA migrants. Now there were no memes half a percent as funny as the ones posted there.

        I was more of a lurker so I don't give as much of a shaven shit as the others getting juiced and xehandled by the petty contrarians and gangs of four.

        Just because I use Reddit, does not mean I am part of the same hivemind. Many people on SaidIt are also on Reddit (often still moving away from it), and many on Reddit also rarely participate in its biggest subs (which seem to get worse the bigger they are).
