It's ghosts. Notch ended up having his dead brother haunting the game he created. M7 has been having the same issues here on saidit. Sometimes you might notice comments or posts on your account you don't recall making, especially when you've been weakened by detectably drinking. They watch.

Or it's a quirk of the site programming. Hard to say.

Drinking is a sleep walking trigger, and people can do fairly complex things while sleep walking. Usually makes no sense to talk to them though so probably not an excuse for drunk texts and shitposts.

I would end up changing my passwords if I saw comments I didn't make. Although Reddit does have 2FA but I don't remember this site having 2FA

I know, but I was making light of a couple occasions when I actually drunk-posted, and the comments got a little out of hand. Then it was more like, "wait, I posted that?"

I see no one has explained what happened there yet, and I'm curious too.

Maybe admins, maybe automoderator, maybe you with different devices, it's complicated. Private subs have never had any real security issues here.
