What search engine(s) do you use personally?

I’ve been using ddg, but it’s time to change that

I've been switching between DDG and google (for when DDG can't handle it, which is anytime there's more than 3 keywords) but DDG is disappointing these days

Same here but they sold out a few months ago. Remember back when you'd get actual data direct from the crawlers and could sift through it all day? Now it's all edited and you only see what they want. Anyway, the End Is Near.

I post on different forums and wait for replies. Usually the responses are of higher quality than any search engine.

Brave search and if that doesn't work I go to bing. If I am adventurous I'd go to yandex or swisscows. But 49/50 times I just use brave search.

I had been using DuckDuckGo for about 5 years and switched do Brave recently.

I use Andi search because it's the only one that doesn't give me captcha BS if I use Tor. It's a bit slow, though, because it uses AI. Brave Search gives me acceptable captchas and acceptable results. Other good ones are Startpage, GPrivate, Results Hunter, Searx, and DogPile. I use those behind regular proxies.

I've used DuckDuckGo for awhile, but their search results just keep getting worse and worse. (It seems like lame attempts to personalize results)

For any heavy lifting searches, one that require support for basic searching features like quotes, +, and -....I use StartPage to get google results.

I'm more than ready to start looking for more options.
