56 people? Sorry, try another site. :)

Right, I meant 5.6 people.

56 humans is better than sifting through a hundred bots.

At least you know you're talking to real people.

That's for sure.

If a bot counts as 0.1 people then that's easily arranged.

name one bot on this site

I don't have Venmo / Paypal or else I would, but send these people a request for money every time you see one.

You know I thought of that. I was wondering if you can message people based on their name but you can't. But you can request money. I'm sure I can come up with some pretty ridiculous shit to say for why I want their money. Haha

I heard a story about a woman who asked a guy for his phone so she could give him her number, and she Venmo’d herself like $2k.

Not cool, but also funny?

Leading a parasitic lifestyle is a symptom of being a psychopath. It's also common in other cluster b personality disorders which are all on the rise at the moment.

It's the rise of the communist ideology.

Communists are workers, not beggars.

Try not working in a communist society, you'll end up in the re-education center real fast.

The communist ideology is one of both being oppressed and entitled.

As an example, a guy I know had Russians for neighbors in the early 2000s. They were only a few years in the USA from Russia, still then very deeply steepled in communist traditions.

This guy ran a side business of vendor machines and as a result, often had cases of soda in the bed of his truck. One time he comes back home from his run with some left overs in the truck bed. He's inside his house and sees the neighbor come and grab a few cans from the back of his truck.

Dude gets out, asks neighbor what he's doing and neighbor explained "I'm just taking a few cans of pop. You have many and we have none." And clearly from the tone of the dude and his demeanor, he fully expected this to be a respectable and sufficient explanation for his actions.

THAT is the communist ideology: by stifling the natural drive for self-starting, initiative, and improving one's life through their own means, it cultivates a reliance on others, meaning the state. And if the state doesn't provide, well... SOMEBODY HAS TO.

Don't believe me? Look into how people lived under the Communist regime in Eastern Europe.

These possibly mostly are histrionic personalities that try to infer from their instagram-bullshit-simulation-alike back into their real life. They possibly started to believe that money, clicks and attention are the same thing. So they started whoring for it. Like they "successfully" did on instagram and these other bullshit-control instruments some ticks developed to capture their minds, freetime and behaviour in to hack it.

I know a couple who begged for funds on Facebook because they were moving. He had a sob story about losing his job because of Covid (everyone who knows him knows he's a loser who can't hold a job); she was going to start school in another state. They move. They get a new car. They go to Disneyland. FB documents it all. Then, suddenly, school doesn't work out for her, and his latest gig-economy job isn't working out. Soon there is another FB request for handouts "because covid and bad luck".

Certainly along the lines of what I'm talking about here. Man maybe I'm fucked up but I'd expect pitchforks if I pulled something like that. I'd expect someone to walk up to me and tell me to get fucked if I wrote shit like this all over my truck. I just don't get it. It's just so entitled and audacious to me. It's also insulting, I just took my daughter to Universal, I dropped a ton of cash, it sucked, but if I didn't have it, the last thing I'd do is ask strangers for the money, I just wouldn't go. All the while I'd bet dollars to donuts these people made zero personal sacrifices to get what they want.

This is not the most outrageous thing this guy has done. He also asked my spouse to write a recommendation letter for a job for which he lacks at least a decade's worth of experience (not to mention a work ethic and a track record). There are some contextual details that make the request even more absurd and insulting, but I'm going to refrain from disclosing them to maintain some anonymity.

Some idiots must pay the bills if making the advertisement pays up.

It's a sin to vouch for money that isn't used right but that's an analogy for the failure of western civilization.

Yeah that's why I thought it was weird. It was spread out. One in Florida, one in Georgia, two in Kentucky. To be fair it was all within one week on two different trips. Haven't seen one since, maybe it was just the quantity in such a short period of time that struck me funny?

I've grown away from giving away my money. Way too many bullshitters and lazy asses ruined it for everyone for me, I don't take the time to discern what's good anymore. I remember a guy telling me at a gas station once some story about getting back to his family in Chicago blah blah, I'm from there so I asked him what neighborhood he lived in and he stood there, so I asked him what street he lives on, he said some name I never heard of, so I said "Oh right over there by the U of I," and he said, yup. If you're going to lie, at least be good at it.
