Does bitting my nails count?

Yes, absolutely. I feel far better morally about killing people than animals. Also human meat would be the healthiest, as the protein would be 100% useable due to having the same essential amino acid composition

would you object to farming humans for meat

[–]HongKongPhooey 4 insightful - 6 fun4 insightful - 5 fun5 insightful - 6 fun -  (5 children)

Why would you need to farm humans when there are already so many Indians and Chinamen in the world?

You should probably ask Clinton and Queen Elizabeth for their opinions. They've tried every kind.

I'd eat human meat and I'd object to farming humans. I don't understand why cannibalism is morally wrong. Murder is definitely morally wrong in almost any circumstances (I'm even against the death penalty for example). They're two separate issues.

[–]Alienhunter 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Cannibalism generally involves murder.

[–]Cass 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Because freshly dead people are hard to come by. They're still two separate issues.

Also the dead can't consent. If someone signs a will saying it's okay to eat their meat then I don't see the issue though.

If it's guaranteed that I won't get any diseases or other health consequences, sure, I'd try it. Thighs would probably be the first thing I'd try.

Well technically speaking is not illegal as long as you don't kill the fucking person

      [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Never. It's the reason why muslims and jews don't eat pork after all.

      [–]yelgy[S] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

      because pigs are human?

      [–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Cute. No, it's because they smell the same while cooking. And because both of these types of subhumans were cannibals once, they forbade the consumption of pork because it would remind them of their cannibalistic ways and perhaps drive them to revive these ways, which caused a lot of trouble.

      [–]Alienhunter 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

      No.

There's a short list of circumstances where cannibalism is morally justifiable. Outside of those, it needs to be punishable by death.

      [–]yelgy[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

      what circumstances?
