I switched from Reddit because I felt like it had become an echo chamber that censors people based on their views, even if they aren't extremist. It seems like any viewpoint that goes against certain extreme left ideologies is immediately shut down. I used to identify as left-leaning, but the situation there has become absurd. On top of that, the recent updates to the site have only made things worse, as if they're trying to turn it into a mediocre copy of Facebook or some other inferior platform.
