Do you think most leftists and liberals realize diversity is bad, but just refuse to admit it?

I remember watching Antiracist Hitler and laughing when AH replied that diversity is good because of the variety of food options.

But I was very surprised when I saw a Jared Taylor interview from the 1990s and the host unironically claimed diversity good because of new food. Across Reddit, I saw liberals claiming diversity is great because of new food.

I think liberals and leftists know diversity has so many problems, but refuse to admit it. They are kind of stupid, childish utopians for believing a divided nation could ever function.

White flight proves they don't like to live with diversity. White liberals like in leafy suburbia, not the crime-ridden inner cities, which they only see in passing. They may have deluded themselves with their self-image as open, compassionate people. So they only think they love diversity.

The food thing is a rationalization.

If confronted with the reality of their actions, I think they'd be shocked.
