When the ground is covered in leaves, do heaps of them move back and forth from one end of the forest to the other, coinciding with the movement of the moon?

People say the moon is the driving force for the ocean tides. But the moon does not cause ocean tides. The tides are caused by the movement of the Earth itself, as it expands and contracts.

Question: Is there anything (besides the ocean waters, supposedly) that the moon pulls around on Earth? Can you think of any other physical substance that reacts to the moon's location in the sky?
