No apparently you missed my entire point as told from one who's been to both. Jail is jail and prison is prison. They are quite different. If you think they're the same then you have not in your lifetime completed a stretch to either one. Jail = short time and prison = long time. Jail is city or county for short timers and prison is state or federal for long timers. Pretty damn simple.
