Reviews from what I have seen are skewed to lower ratings. Unhappy people would be more compelled to write a review than happy people. So if there are nothing but positive reviews I would doubt its accuracy.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. There's no way in hell the truck stops I'm looking at pay that high nor are the reviews really made by actual people. Or sometimes, they're made by people who haven't been working there that long.

also, somebody wrote this on glassdoor's salaries:

I love how somebody said on glassdoor's salaries: Probably like their reviews not very accurate since Glassdoor looks for reasons to delete negative reviews. Glassdoor works from the companies, not the employees. They are a recruitment tool disguised as a review website.
