Ask the community of saidit a question!
Russian bots?
submitted 4 years ago by Drizzt from self.AskSaidIt
how does Saidit plan to protect the community from bot activity? and, do people in saidit think it's necessary?

We've already removed several bots. If they're just spamming and never respond to comments or discussion, we remove the spammer. Not a big deal

Hopefully by fostering a community of educated and self thinking people who realize that it is not "Russian" bots that we need to protect our selves from but rather "bots" from all sides, especially the corporate side of things.
That way the community will protect itself. "Herd immunity" is a great term that I would like to see used more often outside of the vaccine discussions.
