Like what? A toolbar for editing markdown? We have what old Reddit had.

When I reply to a comment I don't see any options for bold/italics, etc.

I see. Yeah maybe someday we'll add it. GitHub has a nice markdown editor that's not overwhelming.

Yea I don't want much. Something simple that has the basics would be nice. maybe the one I see on reddit is from my RES.

Now we're talking.. a port of a RES feature would be no sweat. Aside from 10 other projects having a higher priority.

If you really want to push this feature, make a new post "Should SaidIt use the markdown editor from RES?" and include a screenshot of it. You can also mention that there will be a preference to disable it/opt-out. I need a strong consensus before it can go on the TODO list.
