What counts as traditional?

Can we define traditional?

I consider myself traditional. I cook and clean and breastfeed my child. I have plans for a medium-sized family. I knit my husband socks and keep milk animals and tend a garden. I plan to homeschool, and a part of me feels like I've already started, because I'm curating learning experiences even if my child is less than a year old.

On the other hand: I also work, albeit as a teacher. I waited to have sex until I was older and ready for both that and marriage, but I didn't wait for the wedding night. I saw this page and thought "oh how fun", but then saw the post saying that to be traditional you had to be a christian.

So, I'm wondering if traditional here is referring more to traditional homemaker activities, or is it more just another way to refer to conservative christians?

You don't have to be Christian to traditional. However, the most of Trad Wives tend to be very Christian. I think about the only group of people that can't be trad are demonic possessed rockstars with groupie harems.

I don't think you need to be Christian to be traditional, but in our modern world you're more likely to find traditional wives that are Christian.

Up until the the beginning of this year I was a working mom also. I just realized that I want to pursue a career as a homemaker and spend more time with my children.

Oh honey you are so trad, you have no idea what's going on out there. Let's recap "normal" leftism:

1) No drug additions (I hope) 2) No misanthropy (love your kids while you got'em) 3) No use for public school brainwashing (so you wouldn't be teaching gay sex to the kindergardeners? ... that's not an overstatement) 4) You know how to curate food, have the humility to do basic chores without the urge to rage against 'the patriarchy' (yes this is real too, just find your nearest big city and locate a plumb woman alone with pink/red hair and big glasses.) 5) Not a whore (because we all no satisfaction goes DOWN when you become the town bicycle)
