The truth of the matter is that it is almost completely impossible to institute social safety net programs of the magnitude the Democrats are hoping for, without a drastic cut in immigration.

This is why countries with the most robust social safety net programs in the world, are also some of the most difficult to immigrate into (Switzerland, Norway, China etc.).

So this logic straight from the horses mouth only confirms that they shouldn't be hypocritical and encourage mass immigration to East Asian countries with shrinking populations, but they do it anyway for no other reason than to deliberately screw them up.
