Can confirm that sexuality is often discovered in isolation. Religious backgrounds make it worse.

I suppose I never brought it up to my doctor because they never asked lol don't ask don't tell is still kind of a mantra that gets in my head but I have come out to some close friends. No family yet! Well I mean obviously my partner knows but not my grandma and such...

Anyone isolated and without social connections is prone to health risks.

Everything is harder when you're alone.

Problems also snowball, depression from being isolated rolls into being fired from a job and develops into homelessness. Fear of homelessness leads to staying in abusive relationships.
