I like the combination of the bi colors and an earthy material. Rather than making them loud and artificial, it emphasizes how harmonious, beautiful, and rare they are when they appear together in nature.

That's what I was going for. There are so many naturally colourful materials to choose from. Why settle for some dyed items?

I like the subtly and idea you have.

I've been looking up some subtle designs for some time haha.

I like stuff like this sky painting for example or these flowers.

I've even thought about getting a pink & blue gaming rig. Thought it'd be cool, but subtle haha.

sky painting

mmm I quite like this piece.

I've even thought about getting a pink & blue gaming rig. Thought it'd be cool, but subtle haha.

Well, why not? it'll definitely look more interesting than my dimly blue lit black box 👌

I should probably use this topic as an excuse to start a small cgi project which incorporates the colours somehow. We'll see how that goes..

Ooh, this really brings out the artist in me! (Not to mention the jackdaw.) Can I play? Cuz while you of course picked some nifty ones (Lapis Lazuli is an old fave of mine-- even its NAME is lovely!)... this post has made me wanna go a-prospecting myself!

So, for each bi-pride color, I've found:

  • FUCHSIA: spinel; sugilite; tourmaline
  • LAVENDER: jade; kunzite; quartz; spinel; sugilite
  • BLUE: benitoite; blue opal; sodalite; spinel; tanzanite; tourmaline

Of course most of these are translucent, so they may not be to your taste, and could all be old news to you anyway... but I wanted to share 'em just in case :)

Great suggestions! A lot of them match the hues pretty closely. I like the sugilite most of all though, as it looks like a good bead material and easily has the range to satisfy 2 colours(fuchsia and lavender). I know about most of these ones, but a few were completely new to me(sugilite, kunzite, benitoite).

Also, my birthstone is here among your list. Can you guess? Hint: It's only found in one place..
