The use of practical skills against common education? Just how useful education really is on the field?

While It's true that there are some useful skills to be learned from certain fields in the university, a lot of other groups have a lack of use of practical skills. I believe once men start becoming more independent, they are capable of affecting their family and society the way they want, I see the male figure as being important for this.

It makes me wonder, considering how much influence the Rockefellers had on the educational system, if it was done to take advantage of the emotional vulnerability that people have when they are young in order to keep them away from learning practical skills.
