What matters to you? Hedonism, or minimizing harm to yourself and others?

What one should do is decide one's priorities and act accordingly with steadfast self-discipline.

Or, you know, do something else. Hail Eris!

Hail Eris.

Are you saying that life is some sort of deontological test of principle following? What is harm? Everybody needs hormetic experiences thats what makes life worth living.

No, not at all, I was mainly satirizing that viewpoint; it's a thing you can do, it works if you have effective ideas and want to create a nice big pile of something, but there are other things you could be doing and maybe you'd rather. I get the feeling you'd rather.

Oh, harm. Forgot harm. Pretty much, "Shit you subsequently wish you hadn't done", let's say.

You could consider leading multiple lives- hey difficult problems call for difficult solutions.

No experience and no, I can think of no instance where it actually made things better but I cannot say that you won't have a better approach to the issue and be able to make it work.
