I'm just asking what you guys think. I have made my own. I have read the first volume of Kamen America and I gotta say, it was just not up to snuff for me. Maybe I am missing some cultural identity of an American or something because i don't see that as the stories that are like the OG Spider-man of the 60s. Well, maybe I may have too high of a standard but it just isn't doing it for me. Congratulations on the successes of the Rippaverse and Kamen America, but I just think they are successsful because the people making them are anti-woke and are presenting an alternative to the woke comics scene. And it just doesn't work for me.

I'm suspecting that's why the many anti-woke Youtubers and publications just give it much praise. Maybe it's just not for me, which I can respect.

I can respect its existence but what I won't respect is that the discussion surrounding it. It almost always is never about the quality of the work and if it is, it usually just accentuates the thing that presents an anti-woke idea. I've read a review of Kamen America and they never told how generic it is and that it just felt so shounen but maybe that is me. Alright, maybe the discussions surrounding its quality is not bad but other discussions how it is coming for the anti-woke, which I do believe is true by the way, is just very, very extreme and toxic and even dare questioning that idea, one would be considered a troll or whatnot.

Anyways, that's all I got for today. I'm sorry for the rants but it seems that not much regular posts on this sub.
