It's in the US but there are some good practical aspects about living there:
Not totally in the middle of nowhere
As cheap of a cost of living as you will get in a first world country. Huge beautiful houses everywhere that are relatively cheap to buy.
People there seem gentle and friendly compared to other places I have been to in the US
Close to Mennonite communities
Within driving distance of a number of major American cities including Chicago and Detroit

Sign me up! I’m a Missouri Synod Lutheran. My church’s headquarters were originally in Chicago. I used to live in Chicago, but don’t want to anymore as I’ve become more religious. Indiana sounds fantastic. I once gave a tech presentation at Purdue University there several years back. Godspeed.
