I wouldn't be surprised if it got deleted, but I just hope someone understands. I'm the person you find on the liberal left side of the spectrum, but also the kind of person who thinks debating about bathrooms and pronouns and blaming the cis white man for everything is a waste of time. In general, majority of the liberal left isn't the crazy feminazis some people like to claim we are.

I used to be pretty much anti-SJW, those whole gender and kin debates on places like tumblr were always artricious to me. Who the fuck wants to be nebula gender?

But then it occoured to me. They're kids. It's 12 year olds trying to show how special they are and they will do ridiculous things for attention. I have older transgender friends who also gave a proper amount of eye rolls to these folks. But I realised it doesn't matter if I argue with them, because they're kids, kids can be fucking stupid and do I honestly want to get upset by a toddler telling me the sky is green? So I let them be, they will grow out of it.

Then there's troll accounts making statements so illogical... they get posted on places like this but the issue is people don't realise they're troll accounts (ironically mostly from the right to show how ridiculous the left supposedly is, so you get these puppet accounts of "crazy leftists"), that it's just some guy sitting behind the screen chuckling about the amount of people that fell for it. They're such a minority, but their statements are so outrageous that they attract all the attention. That's not the kind of person one should pay attention to.

Then there's the strawmen, such as transgender people wanting to force children to take hormones (they don't and that's actually illegal), that science and biology says transgenderism isn't real (which a quick Google search on the biological aspects of transgender people - unbiased, bare science - there's more to sex and gender than genitals, even biologically speaking the body can end up in-between), gender dysphoria is an illness and transitioning/appearing as the gender they identify as is the treatment, its as simple as that. Saying that they are their birth sex and should act like it is like telling someone with cerebral palsy to stop shaking so much - you don't help and you just make them feel like shit for an aspect of them which they can't change. Look, I have OCD and sometimes I will avoid stepping on the cracks of the path to not feel this pointless anxiety, I know its ridiculous to anyone around me but if it makes me feel better and harms no one then who gives a flying fuck? In the same way people get outraged about face tattoos, like okay I'm not into it and I personally think it looks like shit but it's their body and they can do with it whatever they want. And if they shave their ears off and claim they turn into barney the dinosaur when they eat a raw potato at 2am in the night, I don't fucking care. It doesn't impact me and it doesn't change anything. Most importantly they're such a tiny minority of an already minosirty group that it really doesn't even matter.

Another thing. Fucking no one is attacking the cis white male except some like 10 year olds and trolls on tumblr. If you take everything some strangers on the Internet say as more real than anything that is currently happening in real life you entirely miss the point, the big picture. Also the past of white folks isn't exactly flattering so I can see why some may be salty at us about it, but who cares. As long as white people don't get stabbed by being white people, but it's usually the opposite. Black people at points struggling to pull their arse out of ghettos doesn't really help it either. I'm sure if they had proper education and less disadvantages from the get-go they would do just as well as white people. How do I know? From other countries where being black is nothing more than a different skin colour, because they could start out in a place with little to no racism with the right resources giving them more of an equal chance than countries like the US ever did. Maybe if we left petty arguments about bathrooms, skin colour, gender or whatever behind us we would actually progress as the human race. We really need to get our shit together for our own sake as a species and not get hung up by shit the greater science even dgaf about.

But no, the media likes to focus on people saying OUTRAGEOUS things, ask for the other side of arguments that literally no one claims, and gay frogs. Then the politics concerning themselves on whether they should add skirts to the cross sign figures or if we need more bathrooms (there's been neutral bathrooms for ages wtf are you even on about). What the hell does this matter, it doesn't get us anywhere, it doesn't focus on a big part of the population not even receiving proper education, it doesn't move science forward, it does nothing but divide people and spread anger at eachother. Maybe that's the point though, anger at eachother instead of the people in power, who knows.

Then the topic of guns - there doesn't really seem to be a consensus. I personally enjoy living in a country where we're developed enough for proper support and education of the people and where only special units of the police and rangers carry guns as both our suicides and murder percentages are way below the US. At the same time I don't think you can just take all the guns away all of the sudden, just give it better regulation and better care for mentally ill, because a responsible gun owner isn't going to get his guns taken away but an irresponsible or severely mentally ill gun owner can easily be a threat to safety. But the views on this topic are on a wide spectrum within the Left.

Refugee crisis. As a German I can tell you all about it, man. There's so much nuance that black and white thinking doesn't even cut it, but even our politicians missed that. Our country was absolutely unprepared to take so many people in to the point the refugees had to sleep outside in the woods. We didn't have the resources to check all the background information on the refugees and so a lot of criminals and other cunts claiming to be refugees slipped in and disappeared in our country. In all honesty, if you're running from your war torn country, would you commit crimes in the country that allowed you to stay there? I think you'd be happy to not fear getting bombed or gassed to death anymore and just survive. Additionally, maybe as a real shocker to some people: recent crime statistics show that crime in our country is actually continously going down. No, I don't fear to be raped by a refugee when walking down the street. They usually hang out in their own little groups and mind their own business. I fear getting raped by some psychopath asshole - regardless of origin, gender, whatever the fuck. Anyone of any ethnicity, sex, sexuality, whatever can commit rape and murder and you usually can't tell by just looking at them. Crime rates are usually higher in less developed countries, lack of money and education can drive people to horrible things. On a side note, I've never actually seen anyone on the lib left defend Islam, most people tend to be critical of religion as a whole or point out the misgony in the religion. They're not held. up to be flawless beings, it's such an utterly absurd strawman in the first place that I don't know what potato brained bastard even started it.

If you want to ask about any other things you absolutely despise about the lib left feel free to, I've got a good grasp about what is and what isn't true without going to flip tables at the person asking. The only thing I sometimes struggle with is economics as its never been my main focus. But I'm just really tired of being attacked for things that hold no ground in reality, if you want to criticise it at least do it by the things the majority of us actually agrees upon and not by what some stray idiot once claimed.
