I'm currently transitioning to my werewolf gender. Don't deny my existence! Let me eat you!

  1. Otherkin are a seperate batch of people and not part of the lgbt community (although some try to be cuz they don't feel special enough or something)

  2. They're kids/young teens, please don't take anything they say as serious. It's about the same as playing "I'm a horse" or naruto running through the hallways, it's like a game they take seriously. But they have nothing outside of the Internet.

Nah, but see, the otherkin kids are pretty young, but they're few and far between. The femnazi/bathroom/pronoun/anti white/anti cis/antifa assholes are GROWN ass adults. The new generation coming up is the most conservative since the 50s. So, don't blame them; they're usually more mentally together & truly informed than their marching for the right to abort full term baby parents. People need to stop giving excuses to these miserable commie, western civ destroying, pieces of garbage b

I've seen more people be outraged about the bathroom debate as anyone in the lgbt community actually giving a shit about it. You got the absolutely wrong idea of what's going on within these communities because you listen to a few outrageous loud mouthed assholes instead of the majority. Also I've never seen anybody want to abort entire babies, it's actually illegal unless the mother is literally about to die if they don't do it, or if the baby is dead already. It's exceptional cases and by no means the norm in countries where abortion is legal.

Also Antifa actually helped fight Isis in the war regions so I've got some respect for them. Seems like the right has a screwed idea of what Antifa does and stands for.

You've criticized a lot, what's your vision of the ideal country? Describe it from general policies, type of government, economic system, globalist or nationalist, whatever.

Also, I'd like to point some things out. On the topic of trolls, you seem to have this idea that trolls believe they're going to change culture and politics through shitposts. By some people's definition, I'd be a troll, and I just do it for the laughs primarily. Sure, making a couple faggits pissed is pretty great, but it's not as if I'm expecting to see a political or cultural shift because I posted a clown pepe. If it upsets the media, then I'll just laugh, and that'll be the end of it. It's for fun, though I do unironically believe in a lot of the rhetoric used in memes I enjoy.

On the topic of guns, there is a consensus held by about 70 percent of Americans. More screening for mental health, and deeper background checks. Apart from that, it's basically divided into two camps. Conservatives who say "gun good." and liberals who say "gun bad." Of course it's more nuanced than that, but delving deeper would require a rabbit trail of research I'm not currently prepared to undertake.

You also mentioned the following: "even biologically speaking the body can end up in-between), gender dysphoria is an illness and transitioning/appearing as the gender they identify as is the treatment, its as simple as that."

If you're using micropenises as evidence of the body ending up in-between, that's incredibly rare, and it is still a penis. Also, it is a severe mental condition, one that, even with your "treatment" of hormone therapy or transitioning, still results in a 40% suicide rate. It's harmful to the youth to glorify transgenderism when it's obvious that so many of them have depression and ridiculously high suicide rates. I'm going to go on a bit of a tangent and share my experience with the subject. I suspect my ex was abused as a child. She never brought up the topic, was raised in what I observed to be a rocky family, always needed attention and reaffirmation, and repeatedly brought up suicide, previous experiences with drugs, and of course, her identifying herself as a guy. I realized that it was likely that she either had been brainwashed by the establishment and was using transgenderism as a cry for attention, or had wounds too deep for me to mend. Although I wish I could have helped her, all but one attempt was met with failure.

In my life, the people who have been affected by transgenderim have deep-rooted issues already. They seek a new identity, a new skin, gender, etc to try and move on. What they don't realize is that the past never leaves. It's a sad state of affairs, but I will never support the transgender movement because of this reason. They think that becoming another gender will help them, as psychiatrists and doctors constantly reassure them (because it gives them business), but it ultimately leaves them just as empty as before.

And what do they have? A mere shell of a body that requires years of expensive hormone treatments, and no emotional gratification. They delude themselves that this new identity, this new body will enable them to move on, but it's just smoke and mirrors.

I pray for the men and women who do experience this, and hope they get mental help, mental help that will fix, or begin to mend the problem at it's root, not relying on a physical change to set you in the correct mental state. As much as I might meme on trannies, I don't hate them, I pity them; a pity that comes from an honest place, when I observed the raw emotions of a broken girl.

That's all, kinda sad now tbh. I hope you got this far, and am interested in hearing your thoughts, esp on transgenderism.

It's harmful to the youth to glorify transgenderism when it's obvious that so many of them have depression and ridiculously high suicide rates.

Ever thought that it might be the other way around? Several studies show that suicide rates go down as trans people are accepted – though the data's absolutely not clear.

Yes, there are people who do it for the attention, or to escape, and those people need help. But there are also those who are actually trans, and those people also need help. You've got three options here:

    • Accept everyone who says they're trans as trans, and risk ruining the lives of those who aren't actually trans.
    • Accept nobody who says they're trans as trans, and risk ruining the lives of those who are actually trans.

Which of these two you do depends on the proportions of each – and I'd err on the side of the former from my personal experience. Though, this is a false dichotomy; there's at least one other option:

    • Find some way of differentiating between the two, and provide the traumatised people counselling, and allow the dysphoric people to transition if they want to.

It's really hard, but you're almost certainly wrong about everything to do with this sort of thing. What I said is almost certainly wrong! But we need to acknowledge this, and constantly consider other things, and go "well, in this hypothetical world, this is the optimal solution, and in this hypothetical world, this is the optimal solution" when we can't work out which world we're living in. Which, at this point, we can't.

    [–]ashyboye 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Ever think it might be the other way around?

Interesting, will have to take a look at the article later, though my point still stands. Pushing this narrative of transgenderism onto children/teens is still incredibly dangerous, even if it's been trending downwards recently.

As for the three camps you mentioned, I'm a mix between two and three.

It's really hard, but you're almost certainly wrong about everything to do with this sort of thing.

Excuse me? I provided rhetorical experience with this, and Drew my own conclusions, options two and three. How is harboring an opinion wrong if you yourself said the following:

Which of these two you do depends on the proportions of each – and I'd err on the side of the former from my personal experience.

Just as you use personal experiences to come to your conclusions, I do as well. There is no right or wrong, only differences in life experiences. For you to say that my opinion from rhetorical knowledge is wrong is to say my life is wrong. This is grossly hypocritical, as you yourself admit to using your life experiences to determine your opinion. Are your life experiences more important than mine?

That being said, you did say the following:

What I said was almost certainly wrong!

What are you referring to? Your conclusion that camp one of transgenderism is the right one? Are you admitting that your experiences aren't superior or infirior to anyone else's? The wording is quite unclear.

    Part #1

Behold, my country of "I picked neither for half of these"

This aside, the most important aspects would be science and education for everyone. School education should include daily life things everyone will need to know as an adult and be flexible. Everyone should have an equal chance, but competition equal to them when it comes to mental or physical abilities. Everyone is equal in front of the law regardless of status. A focus on rehabilitating criminals when possible and have them become a part of society again. A system pretty similar to that of Germany (I just know the most about it), but media that informs the people instead of fear mongering propaganda and lies, I don't think it should be allowed to knowingly spread misinformation. The people should be informed of what each party really stands for before they vote, as so many seem to not have a clue. Maybe instead of voting for a party, vote for policies? I'm not sure. Law should be enforced, but using violent force is an absolutely last measure. Life is valuable. We should try our best to work with nature and use it to our benefit instead of just purely destroying it. Guns should not be a necessarity (crime kept to a minimum) for the regular citizen and only used by a special section of the police, and rangers. Healthcare system like here should also cover mental illness and therapy should be up to the highest scientific standart. Politicians should always concern themselves with the biggest issues their people are facing and shouldn't be held to a higher standart than the average citizen. The rich should be taxed well and any attempts of them to get around paying tax should be a punishable offense. Politicians should let the people vote on large decisions that are paid with tax money to avoid putting the money into something nobody actually needs (ie abstract art statues instead of fixing the roads). Oh man there's so many more things I think I should stop before I get too carried away. I could write all day but who the hell would read it anyway. The German constitution by itself is a very good basis and could be improved upon.

    [–]LordGhoul[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Part #2, By in-between I meant biologically intersex people, it seems like you aren't aware that it's a thing. These people are born with both sex organs, usually some not being properly developed, and it's impossible to tell what they will actually identify with later in life. That's why Germany just introduced the third gender option on birth certificates - you legitimately can't tell by their genitals if they're male or female.

Also you say you don't hate trans people, but then why use the slur to describe them? It's like saying "I don't hate black people" and then immediately raise the n word for them. Even when you come from the mind of "it's just a word", do you really need to use it? I mean I used the argument for a different word until I realised I never fucking use it anyway so why is it even worth the debate.

wizzwizz actually explained the issue very well already. Your experience with transgender folk does not speak for every trans person either. But it's true that we should find a way to differentiate between the two. Brain scans may be a possibility, as they have a different structure than that of a non transgender person.

Additionally, you need counter statistics to your suicide statistics to see the full effect of transitioning. By that I mean suicide statistics before and after transitioning, as well as the effect of conversion therapy. You will find that transitioning reduces suicide, and that conversion therapy increases the suicide risk greatly. Transitioning is currently the best possible treatment available, and it actually includes therapy that starts before they can transition, to make sure they actually want it and that it isn't trauma and non-sex related identity issues. Also, if they are accepted to be just like any other member of society including being called by the gender and name they changed to instead of getting outcasted or bullied, they are less likely to commit suicide.

There is a very small percentage of people that regret transitioning, some have even detransitioned, and they are often shamed by anyone for making the mistake without anyone acknowledging their reasons. These people have usually been forced into gender roles and started feeling wrong because they arent a perfect stereotype. I remember the case of a girl who transitioned and only after going through with breast amputation she got traumatised and realised she made a mistake. Her father would always force her to be a stay at home woman, always supposed to wear dresses, cook for the men, but she hated it and felt wrong because she was more of a tomboy. She never realised that its completely fine to be a tomboy and it made her think she should be a guy. And I sympathise as all the girls back in my school days were very stereotypical while I was more of a tomboy as well, and felt out of place due to it. That's why it's important to not force gender roles and let children and young adults be able to express themselves freely. The most afraid of their kids turning out to be transgender or homosexual and reacting by forcing stereotypes and gender roles on their kids are doing the exact opposite to help it. If your boy wants to paint his nails, wear a dress or play with dolls just let him. If your girl prefers dinosaurs and cars and pants over skirts and dresses then let her. Kids love to try things out and experiment, it's good to let them explore what they like and what they don't. Plus, they're kids, they play and have fun and don't concern themselves with societies roles yet. Freeing people of thinking that they need specific personality or visual traits to be part of a gender would greatly reduce the risk of wrongly transitioning people.

That being said, I did write up a short reply to wizzwizz around the same time you posted this, so you might not have seen it. Consider taking a look at that meanwhile.

honestly and truly; I commend you speaking out and voicing your true opinions on such subjects, if I may critique on certain subjects.

But then it occoured to me. They're kids. It's 12 year olds trying to show how special they are and they will do ridiculous things for attention.... So I let them be, they will grow out of it.

Yes I totally agree that it's some form of adolescent faze such as the gothic/wicken faze just to be different and eccentric; but what I have a problem with is when these "kids" do not grow out of it. these childlike college students or much older adult children who now believe that they are a legitimate subclass of genderism, advocating science and scholars to rule in their favor.

Then there's troll accounts making statements so illogical.....That's not the kind of person one should pay attention to.

that's poe's law theory in a nutshell, people stating the most outlandish things that no one can tell from fiction to nonfiction and that enforces the extremist and outlandish views of certain subgroups. and that can be dangerous. like think of the 4chans "ok" symbol and drinking milk ironically insinuating that they were white nationalist and skinheads logos/signals but when the white nationalist and skinheads start to utilize it, it no longer becomes ironic.

Also the past of white folks isn't exactly flattering so I can see why some may be salty at us about it, but who cares. As long as white people don't get stabbed by being white people, but it's usually the opposite. Black people at points struggling to pull their arse out of ghettos doesn't really help it either. I'm sure if they had proper education and less disadvantages from the get-go they would do just as well as white people. How do I know? From other countries where being black is nothing more than a different skin colour, because they could start out in a place with little to no racism with the right resources giving them more of an equal chance than countries like the US ever did.

I don't believe you understand why there is discourse between races in the US. black people were legitimately slaves until late 1870's and no more than second class citizens until 1950 and they thoroughly believe in having reparations due to there misfortune just as how natives were given reparations. and I agree to a point but only to the ones who truly suffered during those trials. but I also don't believe in throwing money at a problem as a solution because now we have this subculture where people who get gov. assistance are no longer willing to work (especially in reservations). and there is also a subculture that has tainted the black population. the ghetto culture has destroyed the black community with drug dealing, clubbing, hoeing, rap careers, gang lifestyle, or gaming gov. assistance being a more acceptable route than doing an honest mans work "slaving away" and being family orientated. and for black people chastizing others going against that subculture and calling them "uncle toms".

I personally enjoy living in a country where we're developed enough for proper support and education of the people and where only special units of the police and rangers carry guns as both our suicides and murder percentages are way below the US.

I disagree wholeheartedly. I could get really into this topic to the point where I could write a book but for now; the police and government agencies don't have your personal well-being in their priority list. the us murder rate has steadily decreased thoughout the years without removing firearms from law abiding citizens. when you look into the murder rate, the majority belongs in gang on gang violence. the suicide rate does not change whether it be from pills, firearm, knife, or other means; only the tool used.

    [–]LordGhoul[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I know why there is a discourse, I don't think I have to point out the obvious. I don't think simply throwing money at people fixes the problem either. Personally, I think education plays a big part, but also the social aspects and that they end up being stuck in these sorta "cut off" communities. Like they're being born into a mess and just get used to it. Something should be more actively done to reduce it and point them in a better direction instead of shrugging and being like "Welp that's how it is". And racism is still a problem in the US.

Even though the murder rates are decreasing (which means progress so hooray for that) it still stands out like a sore thumb compared to a lot of other countries. But I think instead of removing guns from the people, the US needs a different approach. I think, again, education plays a big part, as well as how the country deals with the mentally ill. There's also a bunch of other issues but if I pointed out everything wrong with the US I wouldn't be done by tomorrow. It's getting better, but it should be happening a bit faster for the sake of all the people, to avoid so many more deaths. But the politicians do fuck all to fix it. "Thoughts and prayers" never revived anyone.

Not op, but just wanted to ask a question because you mentioned the ok hand and 4ch. From the time I've spent on 4ch, half the time I can't tell what's ironic and what's not. Of course the ok hand symbol was created in irony, but aren't a decent portion, if not most, /pol/ users nationalists?

You say that it no longer becomes ironic, but it's my understanding that nationalists were the founders of the meme. Do you perhaps mean that people were using it unironically to signal white power, and that's where it died, or just that because unironic nationalists used it, it died?

Apologies if wording is confusing, it's late and I'm tired.

    [–]poestal 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I truly believe its both; you have one side of the sub thats more "lol trigger the libtards niggerfaggots" and just being abnoxiously insulting through memes just for the lols and then you have the other sub group of true white nationalism generating hate through the meme format. So with the ok symbol or kek flag, i dont know for certain; thats the "beauty" of poes law.
