There has been a lot of conversation that goes on online that doesn't seem very productive a lot of times.

I'd like this sub to avoid that. Instead of posting things to talk about, everything here should be oriented towards doing things. Post things you have completed that others can use to do things themselves. Post "I've completed steps X and Y of project Z and am looking for advice about aspect A of the next step."

Don't post "we/someone should do blahblah". Don't post "hey this topic is interesting." Don't post "hey this would be a neat feature for someone to make". Don't post "what if we did it this way."

Here, only post things when you didit.

Additionally, comments should be action-oriented. No "hey neat man" no "congratulations" no "looks good". (And no "your project sucks man").

Appropriate comments might be, "I've completed steps X and Y of doing a similar project, how did you handle step Z on your project?" Don't ask about the project just to ask about it, keep it personal action oriented.
