His new Netflix show is coming out tomorrow.

I heard 2 interesting theories.

1) He planned this, knowing he would get banned from Fallon's show, and knowing the backlash would make the news, thus resulting in more publicity for him and his show

2) Someone trying to get his netflix show cancelled is going through everything norm says with a microscope to try and make him look bad.

2b) Perhaps his netflix show cancellation is already planned, and this is a way for Netflix & co to lay the groundwork for that in the mind of the public by turning them against him.

If it's 1, norm's a genius. If it's 2, I guess we'll find out in a few days. I guess it could also be plan 1 that went wrong and results in his show being cancelled, if it gets cancelled.

So hopefully his show doesn't get cancelled... Netflix has already ended series due to statements made about metoo

Interesting. I was definitely considering #1, but hadn't thought about 2b. All definitely possibilities. I hope his show gets on and he gains popularity enough to bring forth controversial topics without fear of recourse. But look how popular Roseanne's show was and that didn't stop her from being fired. Or Donahue on MSNBC back in the day. Will be interesting to see how it all pans out but my hopes on any groundbreaking stuff occurring on his show are pretty low as far as politics go.

Norm McDonald is a comedian. Everybody lighten up. Washington Post, that at times is comedic, is saying that "Trump is complicit" with damage caused by Hurricane Florence. WaPo is partly owned by goggle and the CIA (Catholics in Action). Norm's job is to make people laugh. WaPo's job is propaganda.
