Has anyone ever seen a short film which isn't shit?

I have to make a short film. I've been advised to watch loads of short films, pick which ones I like and then make something similar.

The trouble is they are all shit or at the very least below the level of a crappy TV episode or advert.

Does anyone ever remember seeing one they'd watch twice?

I generally agree with your sentiment, however, all TV spots and music videos are also short films - some even have brief narratives.
