So it seems to me the standard diet advice that the fitness people on Youtube give is to obsessively count calories for some reason, consume all manner of exotic ingredients in every meal presumably in order to achieve a "balanced diet", eat every couple of hours for some reason and disregard the whether the food is digestively compatible or fit for human consumption in the first place. This is presumably to make you think you are getting your money's worth from their diet programs or due to their just being plain stupid.
The actual way to do it is of course a paleo/carnivore ruminant based diet, proper food combining, probably two meals a day for most and water fasting.
