This is what I have been doing recently, as shown in the vids in another thread, and it seems to work really well. As a training style it has a lot going for it. Minimal equipment, less risk of injury, probably better grip and peripheral muscle strength gains, better coordination, getting into frequent oxygen debt seems to increase aerobic fitness without the need for separate cardio, and I even seem to be putting on a fair amount of muscle despite being in my late 40s and so having presumably lower test. People should give similar workouts a try. BTW, here is another sample.
