It's soaked in a heavy salt solution overnight so that might be why they don't like it. I worked at Hardee's for two weeks and that taught me there must be better jobs out there somewhere and I was gonna find one. So thanks Hardee's.

Hardee's is one of those chains where one is clean and the food and service are great and when you go to another one you wonder if your food was on the floor before they sent it out and the employees have Typhoid.

Ha. I was only commenting on that particular one, the one that convinced me to go back to college. I think the saltwater soak is standard and tt was clean. There was nothing wrong with that Hardee's or any of them. That was the place I was working when the realization hit me. I think that was the world's first Hardee's in Greenville, NC. Don't sue me Wilbur.

the meat was almost rubbery, kinda like biting into an unpeeled grapefruit

Sounds like it was over cooked. Cats are super finicky eaters, my Gizmo doesn't like even perfectly cooked high quality chicken or fish, he just wants his kibble.

No this was something else. I am no stranger to overcooked chicken because my wife wont eat it unless it is nearly cremated but I have never bitten into chicken like that ever in my life before.

Hardees is good for breakfast and only breakfast. Everything else on the menu is awful. Our Hardees could close at 11:00 every day and increasse their profit margin.
