    I remember not liking watching golf before I started playing it. Once I started playing it, it amazed me because I could relate to how hard what they are doing is.

    Hah, reminds me of Happy Gilmore. Just suggested to the wife that we should go miniature golfing and it sounds like a date. 👍 If nothing else, s/golf helps my chances at getting laid.

    When I was younger I played some golf. It really wasn't interesting. I don't get it and to this day I still do not. This does not include mini golf.

    There are just more interesting ways to spend time outdoors.

    To each their own of course. It's the hardest sport I've ever played, and also the most rewarding. I'm going this morning.

    How is it the most rewarding? Aside from some light walking, it is very unproductive and the scenery is full of nothing open spaces.

    Because it is very hard to get to a certain level. 90 percent of amateur golfers barely break 95 or a hundred on a par 72 course. So when you start to play down into the 80's and 70's, it's extremely rewarding, because it's fucking hard to do.

    I don't know about unproductive, I've met customers, sold tons of stuff, grew a social circle, and it's a hobby. Nobody remains 100 percent productive at all times. Surely you do something for fun?

    To each their own on the scenery. Depends on where you play. Obviously a little municipal course is pretty basic, but check this and this out. Playing there in a month. Played here a couple weeks ago. It can be very scenic.

    Just because something is hard to do, does not mean it improves your life in a productive way. Jerking off 3 men at once with two hands is not easy (I would think), doesn't mean you should do it.

    And if you are to strive for a hard goal in the name of entertainment, perhaps something that is useful outside of the game? For example, if you like walking around with a stick, why not go to a farm and walk around with a gun and shoot some game? Target practice and excersize and if you pick a nice spot good scenery.

    I honestly thought I was one of the biggest pricks around here. But there's always one that has you beat.

    I get it, you don't like golf, what normal people do is fuck off after they've made that clear, not continue to pretend the way they live their life is the only way to do so. Most people don't also assume that because someone posted something about an activity, that's literally all they do with their time.

    And I don't need target practice, I'm very well versed, I'd rather save my ammo, plenty of self-righteous assholes to kill someday. You know what I mean?
