Nearly 65,000 of us were on reddit's GenderCritical sub before the banwave, with more coming every day. They can delete the sub, but they can't shut us up.

I was not a mod. If you were a GC mod please message me here and on reddit. I make no claims to have been a mod over there, but I was so worried this day would come. To all the women I met on GC, it was amazing having open conversations with you, and hopefully that day will come again soon.

We’re not the only ones angry. LGBDroptheT is basically waiting for the timer to go down and then for the hammer to drop. A lot of people across Reddit are just posting “WTF” over and over.

    Those guys have been actively working to eliminate every GC and radfem subs for months now. Welp, sooner or later all of Reddit is going to be one giant uberwoke/libfem/TRA echo chamber.             A lot of people are joining Spinster. It's more of a Twitter-kinda format site (Mastodon?), and its community before this just happened ran a little on the older (and British) side, so it's not great, but it's something.

                  What really irked me is that I knew people had put down actual money they earned for the gold and plats I got at the end. I felt bad that they wasted their money.

                    Thank you for setting this up. I am beyond angry that the one space in MY LIFE where I could talk openly about so many important issues has been taken away from me. I relied on GC to keep me informed, to keep me sane, and to remind me that there are other women out there who have my back (and will support me by both agreeing with me AND asking me tough questions when they don't).

I’m probably considered right wing by most of you but I don’t like guns, don’t like religion, always hated the confederate flag and grew up Liberal in (Upstate) NY. But the Liberals I knew - the ones that fought against censorship, against labels and for actual equality - no longer exist.                                     GC was the one purely female space in a misogynistic, porn-obsessed hellfire. It was one of the few mainstream spaces where women were free to speak their minds. I'm sick of supposedly educated people kowtowing to an insidious, nonsense fiction at the expense of women and girls.

                                        I just joined Reddit for the first time a week and a half ago for GC after the JKR thing and WTF. Is this in any way normal? That a sub would get banned without even warning the mods? I have still been reading through all of the information and had really been nervous to talk to my less progressive friends and family about gender ideology because I didn’t want to make them actually transphobic or judgmental (I live in a decent sized city in a red state and they probably don’t really know about any of what is being argued for right now) but it looks like I need to get over that concern.
