I am happy to see a full range of women's lives shown, rather than breaking us up into discrete marketing chunks. It made me cry because it was so shocking to see reality and not fucking BLUE FLUID.

I know what you mean - I wasn't expecting to tear up over this ad. And the music choice was brilliant. I got chills.

I want to know what the song is! I tried googling some lines and Google started asking me if I was suicidal. Morrissettian irony.

The song is Priestess (Shura remix) by Pumarosa :)

The last night on maudlin street.... lol. We'll have to do a deep dive to find this song. I'm guessing it was specifically made for the ad??

Oh my god. Not a single ounce of woman-invalidating bullshit. I'm stunned, that was gorgeous!

It’s brilliant, isn’t it?

Yes! It's so moving! Especially after last night when I had THE most excruciating period pains of my life. To see that experience represented means so much. And artistically it's amazing as well. It will be interesting to see if any TRA's try complaining about it.

This is one of the best things I've seen in a long time. Sent it off to every woman I know.

That is an amazing vid, every bit of it on point. I literally snorted with laughter at the sneeze gush control room and teared up at the pregnancy struggles and birth parts. It felt really good and wholesome to see something that authentically represented women's biological ups and downs. Oh, and the pain monster depiction was totally accurate.

This is everything right now! So awesome. 😭

That was amazing. I lost it at the miscarriage and the empty blue womb because that was me just a few months ago. Our complicated relationship with our bodies as we age was depicted in such a realistic way. Great job, Bodyform.

I tested up there too because I have several losses. This was an AMAZING commercial. Unfortunately I am well past needing their product—and loved the menopause scene—but I would stockpile it if they sold it in the US. I often donate to shelters.

Oh wow, this is amazing! I did not expect such realness - I LOVE it.

I knew I switched to them for a reason. Fuck Always

So beautiful. All our experiences of our biology are so unique and yet they inexorably link us in a way men will never understand.

This was really touching. This is what the female experience looks like in my head, I'm glad it's now being visually represented to all!

Where do they sell Bodyform pads?

[–]venecia 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Here's their website with a list of the different names by country. If they're not sold where you live you might have luck from some nearby country :)

I fucking love this...

Genuinely surprising to see women in these ads. Especially since TRA's are so hell bent on erasing women in feminine products.
