RANT
"When asked for receipts they are not provided, when asked to acknowledge the obvious double standard on women (with receipts as proof) we are blocked."
TRA's do that pretty much every day. Trans rights groups just believe women have seen enough progress (I have an LGB friend who says people are just tired of hearing about cis/hetero problems as if 95% of the population is not impacted by "cis hetero problems.") So what that means practically is that any issues the second wave had are no longer relevant. And the third wave has turned into this crazy inclusive movement that makes absolutely no fucking sense.
metoo has been written off as assaults on rich, white women, so who cares? As if that means the prevalence of assaults isn't still a big deal. The fact that SO MANY well to do white women ARE RAPED and victims of DV tells you it is STILL A BIG FUCKING DEAL if some of the most economically privileged among us STILL ARE NOT SAFE. Oh and the absolute fucking GLEE some people have over Johnny Depp "being a victim" and Amber Heard "being an abuser." Meanwhile, the guy wrote shit all over a mirror in his own blood (because someone who isn't high and not in psychosis would do that). I'm not saying Amber didn't harm the guy, but let's not act like Johnny Depp is NOT an abusive, relapsed alcoholic either. Oh, and she is bi-sexual. I don't see the LGBT community coming out of the woodwork to defend her, but I do often see trans women defended all the fucking time despite their repeated threats to "Kill TERF's." Could it not be that Depp is simply pissed off he is losing money, despite the fact that he settled with this woman (who donated the settlement money to charity although Depp presumably made her sign an NDA)? If you're torn on the Depp/Heard case, watch a documentary called The Perfect Victim and read this: https://www.bitchmedia.org/article/johnny-depp-amber-heard-cycles-of-abuse
3rd wave sex pos folks do this too. Oh, those WOMEN (esp black trans women) need the money and if you're a privileged person and can get an above-board job, you shouldn't be judgy to the poor women who have to resort to sex work. Not judging them, only saying they should have above board opportunities and maybe some mental health care and medical care and low-cost education. Oh, and guess what, a significant portion of women in sex work are TRAFFICKED AGAINST THEIR WILL. Porn actresses like Jenna Jameson are groomed into it at 16! Oh, and we can't want honesty in our relationships with men because polyamory is the natural state of things and if we want monogamy we must be sexually repressed. Hm...can't it be that men are socialized to get their self-esteem by treating women badly and being sexually promiscuous? (No offense to the poly people lurking but I'm a little sick of the unicorn seekers on dating apps and the girlfriends who don't seem that thrilled about the search).
3rd wave intersectional feminists try to claim the second wave was bullshit because minorities never had the "luxury" of being a housewife and depending on a man. Guess what, THAT IS NOT A LUXURY, being dependent. Being treated like you're just a fuck toy. Being treated like you are just a breeder. Oh but what about Muslim women who wear Burkas? Yeah, I guess I have to be tolerant of their religion but I have the same issues with them as I do with evangelical white women. Their religion is SEXIST AF.
Just because someone idolizes a certain experience because it is not their own doesn't mean the grass is actually greener. Libtards seem to think the solution is ANYTHING but fixing income inequality and ANYTHING but giving people more money. I can't understand how they don't see this obvious reality. Maybe these religious women would leave their husband if they had a way to survive on their own. Maybe prostitutes would do something else if they had a way to survive on their own. Inequality is the problem! And don't force your fucking religious beliefs ON ME - and I am talking to you QT and I am talking to you crazy Christians! Leave me the FUCK ALONE.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
