I am never going to forget when people decided to reward Bruce woman of the year over Malala Yousafzai. She fought for girls' right to go to school in Pakistan, and was shot in the face by the taliban. She survived and when she healed, she continued to fight.

It still angers me to this day.

Renovating your wardrobe, getting a new haircut and being responsible of vehicular manslaughter are way braver than fighting for girls's rights to education and almost getting killed for it.

"Yes but did Malala look pretty?"

If I'm not mistaken, a Fields medal had gone to a woman for the very first time not too long before Jenner won woman of the year. That wasn't impressive enough either, apparently.

Imagine how us Pakistanis felt when we found out...

I remember being annoyed about that. I recall commenting to my husband that every woman on the planet had apparently somehow been out-womanned by someone who hadn't even been a woman for a year.

It's a travesty that they slighted Malala. And also half the population of the planet.

People unironically hold the position that TiMs are more woman than women, because they have to work for it or something.

Well it is true that for a lot of people, the measure of a woman is how much effort you put into the gender performance. More evidence of how cancerous the trans movement is to women's liberation.

Yousafzai did not want to get shot in the head. Jenner ordered his surgeon to cut his body to insert silicone in different bits. Either they were bribed or whoever wanted to look more woke thought getting plastic surgery and claiming to be in the wrong body is better than countering a socially harmful system which has deadly consequence.

Men are better women than women, apparently.

Lol Bruce Jenner is a garbage human being. Mark Normand has a great clip from his recent comedy special that mentions Bruce

Totally forgot that he killed someone too.

That's one of the benefits of transitioning - you're no longer responsible for the actions and choices of that fake person you were pretending to be. New wardrobe washes away the sins!

Congrats! You made me care about the Kardashians.

A mid-life crisis with extra steps.

I have a feeling a lot of these “trans celebrities” — at least the adult ones—are depraved narcissists.

That Kardashian reality show was going full force and they'd just show Bruce on the couch looking like a lump.

Now he's a Kardashian. Or thinks he is.

I like that he went with Caityln, which has the on-brand "K" sound but is special enough that it doesn't start with the same letter.

He said he named himself after some other woman he knew. I'm sure she's flattered! lol

There's nothing more narcissistic than reality TV.

I wonder if Khloe Kardashian will become one of us eventually?

[–]Aquadog[S] 24 insightful - 1 fun24 insightful - 0 fun25 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

There's no way in hell she would openly say anything because it would destroy her career and reflect poorly on her family. Kris Jenner barely said anything even though she was clearly crushed by the transition.

However, in the clips I did watch you could see Kim struggling to "sound right" and Khloe became very confrontational over the lies Bruce told. The two younger ones went pale and totally silent and I don't think they've ever really talked about it publicly. So I think at the very least 4/6 woman of the Kardashian-Jenners have peaked, but they'll never publicly say that.

I also read something about Bruce tearing into that interview Khloe had with Howard Stern where she said he lied to everyone in the family.

I wonder if the Kardashian women would have the social clout to move the tide, if they did decide to take a stand about it (which seems highly unlikely, but still), or whether they would be washed under the TRA wave/cancellation machine.

If JK didn't, I really doubt Kardashians can.

Urgh everything I know about this TiM and his family seems to be against my will, like I can’t seem to avoid some inane headline about them.
