God the melodrama they need to force in order to scare people off listening to us. Big scary fascists who are barely people and so mean. fuck all about any actual ideas and plenty of characterising women who say no to men as nazis.

Wow, this is straight up malicious and evil ("we will use "cis" handmaidens to gain a majority in these small groups for women and then take over"), planning to infiltrate and kill organizations that want to provide safe spaces for biological women.

And it's happened, and not just in small groups but in large, powerful lobbying organizations founded to advocate for rights for girls & women. For example in the USA, former feminist groups such as NOW, the Ms. Foundation, the National Center for Lesbian Rights all say not only that TWAW, but that TW are the most oppressed and important kind of women.

NOW is no longer a women's rights org, but "a multi-issue, multi-strategy organization that takes a holistic approach to women’s rights" and includes among its core aims "fighting bigotry against the LGBTQIA community" and centering "transgender women." A post dated 2014 on the NOW website says:

Trans women face higher rates of discrimination, violence, sexual assault, and poverty. Around half of all victims of anti-LGBTQIA homicides in 2012 were transgender, and all of them were women of color.

Black and African-American transgender women have a 50 percent greater homicide rate than their white, Latina, and Native American counterparts and were more than three times as likely to experience police violence more than any other group, according to a 2012 report by the National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs on LGBTQIA and HIV Affected Hate Violence.

These are all civil rights violations because they are rooted in the denial of a person’s right to be who they are. Equal means equal. That includes equality for all women, not just a certain type of woman.

NOW (the National Organization for Women ) which used to be at the forefront of women's rights, is now really a men's rights organization.

A GC feminist, I can't remember who, looked into NOW's funding and found the same trans lobby money trail as so many other organizations that have been co-opted by Trans, Inc.

Could someone Memory Hole this? To me, this is proof of their evil. Does anyone even KNOW what Fascism IS anymore, to recognize it?

I laughed at the bile at the beginning of this, but I became furious quickly. The old "three fingers pointing back at yourself, when you point at someone", REALLY applies to this article.

Well, up the ante. Key is this (for US):

Make sure your state or locality enshrines discrimination based on gender identity into law — that helps immensely.

Certainly, we must focus on the sex based protections at the local, regional, and state levels!!

Meanwhile, Old broad ready for martyrdom for hire (expenses only) public and recorded events. straight - but support same sex orientation. Can yell loudly, and get insanely angry enough to make straight dudes back away. It's all in the eyes... Edit: format

In 1944, the acclaimed English writer George Orwell had this to say about the term's overuse as an epithet; "It will be seen that, as used, the word "Fascism" is almost entirely meaningless. In conversation, of course, it is used even more wildly than in print. I have heard it applied to farmers, shopkeepers, Social Credit, corporal punishment, fox-hunting, bull-fighting, the 1922 committee, the 1941 committee, Kipling, Gandhi, Chaing Kai-Shek, homosexuality, Priestley's broadcasts, Youth hostels, astrology, women, dogs and I do not know what else...the people who recklessly fling the word "Fascist" in every direction attach an emotional significance to it. By "Fascism", they mean, roughly speaking, something cruel, unscrupulous, arrogant, obscurantist, anti-liberal and anti-working class. Except for the relatively small number of Fascist sympathizers, almost any English person would accept 'bully' as a synonym for "Fascist". That is about as near to a definition as this much-abused word has come.

In 2004, Samantha Power, lecturer at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University) reflected Orwell's words from 60 years prior when she stated: "Fascism – unlike communism, socialism, capitalism, or conservatism – is a smear word more often used to brand one's foes than it is a descriptor used to shed light on them".

So, according to the author, TERFs are a powerful, organised group of fascist, christian conservatives with significant financial support. I sure am glad I've never met any of these terrifying monsters.
