Be careful to only give a broad region of where you're from - please do not be specific as to city or even regio or state, if your area is sparsely populated.

Northern Europe myself. Radfems are not a HUGE deal where I come from - but a shit ton of people are absolutely done listening to the pseudofeminist "liberals." Sadly, this often means they turn to the right instead of trying to find a middle-ground. (In all honesty, there isn't currently a political party in my country that would be so called middle... It's either ultra-Woke or alt-right, and the in-betweeners are religious. Great! /s)

Love your username! I haven’t been in the country for a while, but I can see how people would turn to the right with how woke the leftists have become there.
Like when you think Päivi ”Kielletään kaikki” Räsänen is actually for once right about something, you know things are seriously messed up.

Thanks! 😊 And yeah. The left seems to think Finland is the USA. Every idea, policy and opinion is directly copied from overseas with little regard to the fact that the countries actually have very little in common. So obviously people think they’re bonkers (and they are correct...)

Kielto-Päivi making sense is a dead giveaway that Finland is now the goddamn Moomin Valley... argh. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Ps. Are you from there or a frequent visitor? I haven’t lived in Finland for over a decade now but I’m of course interested in what is going on politically (and otherwise).

That's so true. The mini-USA. I'm from there too, I left a few years ago.

I’m in the Pacific Northwest, US.

Everyone here is super woke. It’s a lot to push back against.

I'm in the northeast US, where it's ultra-liberal and woke. Not super thrilled about it, but it's better than California lol

Central Europe.

My country is full speed on the trans train, and when I lurk in the trans subreddit for my country it's full of people asking how they can manage to migrate here and get into our health-care-system.

We have a feminist magazine with a very long history, and whenever they post something critical about anything "trans" to their FB-page, the trans armada arrives and is shouting about how disgusting and hateful they are. But I have a little bit of hope, because I see a lot of women commenting and fighting back, so I know I'm not alone.

I'm personally from Italy, this is the only time I'm thankful I live in a conservative country. Anyway, there is still a lot of populism and people are more polarised than ever like the rest of the world.

I sort of get where you're coming from, but regardless of its roots, misogyny is misogyny. Period.

I live in another Southern European country myself (as stated above, am originally from Finland) and by god - the blatant dismissal of women here (unless they are WIVES or MOTHERS) is very off-putting; and that is me trying to say it veeery nicely. Conservative ideology is not the "fix" for this or anything at all, actually. I'd even wager a lot of conservatives would love to see more of the woman-erasing TRA bullshit because they also tend to (surprise!) loathe gay people, so in their logic it would make much more sense to just transition a person instead of admitting that they simply are sexually attracted to the same sex. (Example - a parent sees an effeminate son - fears he's gay - GAY IS WRONG IN GOD'S EYES - brainwashes them to think they're a girl instead.) Yep, nopedy nope.

I don't think Italy is not that backwards, but you have to distinguish between Northern and southern Italy. In the north gay people are accepted pretty much everywhere and now is not a big thing like in the past. People could be sexist and racist though.

I mostly lurk, I lurked on reddit and I lurk here, and I've seen ideas and terms which come directly from /pol/. GC is already influenced by far-right ideas.

Being conservative I disagree with this. Only culture where I know that is the case is Iran, in Southern and Eastern Europe transsexuals are considered worse than homosexuals. But there is the opposite example where women are forced into becoming men. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albanian_sworn_virgins

You mentioning “far right” as somehow equivalent to GC was enough for me. 😅 Sure, there are probably people on GC peeps from VARIOUS different backgrounds and ideologies - you’ll see some conservatives here as well. That doesn’t mean gender critical feminists are far right. What nonsense.

I grew up in an ultra conservative family so I have my own experience (and the shared experience of others who went through a similar hell) which absolutely makes me oppose conservatives. You sound like a man by the way you talk; or if not, you have been very blind to the “blessings” conservative thinking have brought to us. Ah, imagine a woman with her own right to her body... A thing conservative people most adamantly wish to deny. You may agree that a man is a man, and a woman is a woman (on a biological level) but dude, other than that you and I most likely have nothing in common.

I never mentioned that GC was far-right or equivalent to far-right, I mentioned that far-right ideas were influencing GC, there's a huge difference between those two statements. GC is mostly leftist, but you see statements and ideas on this sub that come directly from /pol/.

Somebody on this sub mentioned how Soros is behind Gender ideological advertisements. Soros being behind transsexual propaganda has been a neo-Nazi point since the 90s.

You sound like a man by the way you talk

I am a man, I've never claimed different.

You obviously have a huge hate for conservatives, and not surprising considering what you say about your upbringing. But radical feminists are finding an ally in conservatives, some conservative ideas are already spreading in here. And every alliance eventually comes at a price.

midwest USA- originally from a fairly conservative area. have moved around to various "woke" studies in the midwest/South. now back near my hometown & most people here have no idea what GC or radfem is lol.

Ontario, Canada. I haven't talked to enough people about this to get an idea of what a lot people think of GC and such.

Hopefully US will have a bigger GC movement. It's quiet here.

The US is picking up but it needs all of us. WE have to make noise.

WoLF and its conservative allies, along with SAVE WOMEN'S SPORTS, and a few other groups, have held rallies in DC.

Now there's FIST (Feminists in Struggle) and Women's Campaign for Human Rights, an offshoot of a global group.

Please join or support these groups in any way you can. Be the change you want to see.

No one is going to save us except ourselves.
