Makes it sound like getting a new haircut or a manicure or something. Go on, treat yourself! 🙄

That' s the point: they are trying to pretend that it' s not that big of a deal.

Disgusting.

If there' s ever been any doubt that this crap is a fad led by money, this should be proof enough.

Jesus Christ...

Honestly, those people are money vultures anyway. Plastic surgeons are predominantly there to take advantage of shitty self image and capitalize on it. Do they offer discounted lipo to anorexics too?

Agreed completely. I loathe plastic surgery with fiery passion, I can only make exceptions for reconstructive surgery, and even then there is a lot of shady stuff there.

This looks like one of those ads that would fit perfectly in that subreddit r/aboringdystopia.

I've read about the consequences of getting your breasts removed. Doesn't sound at all like celebrating to me.

Do you remember where you read that? I'd love some trustworthy sources to share with those who say "who cares and it's reversable anyway (implants), at least you can't get breast cancer"

[–]materialrealityplz 12 insightful - 2 fun12 insightful - 1 fun13 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Their idea of 'reversible' is a bit fucked up. lmao. Implants are not like your natural boobs at all... besides, there are some implants that cause cancer, on that note.

[–][deleted] 6 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

And you have to replace implants every ~8-10 years. It's not a "one and done" situation.

For general stuff you can find it on any page discussing mastectomies for breast cancer https://www.mayoclinic.org/tests-procedures/mastectomy/about/pac-20394670

I've heard of transmen losing nipples and/or losing sensation too.

Also, obviously implants cannot breastfeed an infant, nor can they restore sensation for the woman. They create the appearance of breasts, that's it.

Aside from what the other commenters have already said, I also recommend reading the personal experiences of female detransitioners on this topic. They tend to know others in the same boat, which allows them to give some insight in what appear to be common 'side effects' of their transition/detransition. This is especially important considering the glaring lack of research when it comes to these things.

They have their own communities, and there are a bunch on Twitter (they tend to use lizard emoticons in their username).

The 'reversible' comment is horrible though. These women can have scars and nerve damage for the rest of their lives.

Now we just need punch cards. Every 10th estrogen pill you get a bagel.

This is the stuff of nightmares. Hey young girls, get a discount on removing one of your major erogenous zones because creepy men fetishize them and objectify you for it.

How these people are even allowed to practice is beyond me. Makes me wonder if they really did read the Hippocratic oath as Hypocritical oath.

If it were me, I don't think I'd want to have something that significant done by a literal cut-rate plastic surgeon.

Right? It's like getting a discount tattoo. Never do it!!

I keep saying this: If the LGB don't rise up and make clear that TQ+ doesn't belong with them, the backlash against all of them will be very severe.

Already in the US there are rumblings against WOKE even among liberals. When gender ideology starts to affect people's children, they will get very, very angry.

As someone who fought for gay rights for decades I am begging LGB to drop the T, immediately and very publicly. Go, LGB ALLIANCES - make your voices heard before it's too late.

I need to have some minor plastic surgery (when I can afford it; eyelids are affecting my vision) & as I search for surgeons, I'm seeing more of this horror. Here's the actual doctor:

Does that include women like my friend who is having to have a double mastectomy in a few days because of cancer?
