How sad. Imagine thinking you can't have hot cocoa and be a man.

Ironically, when I think of hot cocoa and blankets I think of Calvin from the Calvin and Hobbes comics where he was wrapped up in blankets by the fire drinking cocoa. Such comfy images in winter. Yet, it was a comic written by a man... about a little boy... huh.

No, no, no, no. Rules are rules. No warm hot (eh?) chocolate or blankets for men. Only whiskey and barbed wire for you, mate!

He seems to think that men don't wear pjs either.

As for "rules are rules" - wish guys like this would pay more attention to learning spelling and punctuation rules than to inventing new rules that breathe new life into rigid sex stereotypes that became passé decades ago.

When relaxing alone it is very important to be mindful of how you look to potential other people that aren’t actually there

I haven't shaved in months and I relax at night... I'm a dude I guess

exactly... it's so sexist how TRAs constantly associate being a woman with shaving and being "smooth". Not to mention the hot warm chocolate wtf lmaaao.

Holy shit. I haven't had hot chocolate in ages. It's the middle of winter, and my legs aren't smooth. Am I a man?

As absurd as it sounds when he says it, that image in this guy's head is there b/c that's pretty much how things are marketed towards women and it is how women are portrayed in plenty of media. We've all seen ads and shows/movies where a woman is relaxing on the couch under a blanket with a cup of something in her hands. The fact that he cannot separate that image from reality is the real issue.

Completely agree. It's disturbing that so many of these people have a basic inability to distinguish truth from fiction - and that "somehow" doctors and psychologists aren't aware of it. I say somehow, because it's very easy to not notice something when you're paid or threatened not to. The entire movement is criminal, a cult of victimhood and abuse perpetuated against it's own followers.

The hilarious thing is I’m pretty sure women are targeted with that imagery because we have less time to just relax. We’re the ones doing more of the housework and childcare, usually on top of a job outside the home, and are expected to spend a lot more time on personal grooming to just meet a basic standard. So the idea that the feminine way to spend a typical evening is curled up with hot cocoa and a warm blanket is hilarious. Women are wiping snotty noses and scrubbing dishes and shaving their freaking legs. These guys just want to be coddled and told they can take it even easier than they already do, which they think is what femininity is.

Enjoying blankets and hot chocolate - oh crap, I'm halfway to being a trans!

Currently eyeing my husband as he's sipping a hot chocolate by the fire, sitting on a "coozy" blanket, with a cat in his lap.

He seems pretty "manly" ... but he does like warm, soft things and sweet drinks in winter. I'll report back with details of his impending transition.
