Is there an option not to answer? It's none of the university's business how I dress or sit or cut my hair.

Things are so bad out there right now I'm wondering if they're asking this question so they can encourage "cis" GNC people to become trans. And I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but I'm imagining GNC women being housed with non-binary or trans natal females if they indicate that they're GNC.

What country is this in? If it's the US or UK, this is illegal and discriminatory.

How do you describe the way you express your gender identity in terms of behavior, appearance, speech, and movement?

They're basically asking you to disclose how much you adhere to - or depart from - stereotypes associated with your sex, sexual orientation, sexual behaviors, relationship status and also (if applicable) to stereotypes around pregnancy, maternity and parenthood.

It's akin to asking you how much you conform to or depart from all the regressive stereotypes associated with your race, ethnicity, religion, age, class, country/place of origin, place of current residence, household income, and so on.

God please just leave it blank or say something like "human being," anything that doesn't humor that crap.

That's ridiculous. What they're doing is probably illegal too

Yes, and everyone who comes across this stuff should be encouraged to object to it and point out that it's illegal, or should be. That's what women of my generation had to do with tons of discriminatory practices, such as being sexually harassed in school and the workplace, and not being allowed to apply for certain jobs, schools or courses of study.

I have gotten similar questions on applications before. I just clicked "prefer not to answer" because it was so stupid, and I think I wrote something in an optional text box explaining how ridiculous it was.

Affirmative action. Universities skirt the rules for admissions blatantly. Heads up in case you don’t know— universities are indoctrination centers. Stay strong, and don’t get corrupted.

Given the current climate, my guess is that the intent behind that question is to increase admissions of super-GNC students in order to show how inclusive the university is, a sort of queer affirmative action with gender ideological answers being given more points. I can just imagine the woke diversity committee that suggested adding the question to combat what they see as gender oppression and hate, much like the culture at Evergreen College.

So there were five options for "gender"

What were the five options? I am trying to guess. Maybe male, female, non-binary/GNC, trans-male, trans-female?
