Very good post.

Similarly, I saw a lot of fake staging at the trucker blockade for the cameras - along with harassment and intimidation tactics meant for the protesters.

Half of everyone is stupider than average, and most of the rest are close to average - and these are the people this political theater works on.

Why don't you go over there and find out?

Why are you so skeptical to be skeptical?

You know all governments lie.
You know all corporate media lies.
You know banksters make money from war.

Patriotism is a blindness.
It's even worse when you're a patriot for a nation you don't even live in.

Don't worry about him, he's halfway between Socks and Usehername.

There are no "borders" ...

The same as there is no "private" "property" ...

But that's some deep Mysticism, i'll openly admit.

Patriotism ≠ belief in borders.

I know. But "patriotism" as it "is" is rather pointless.

My thinking on this goes like this: Mostly patriotism is used to construct "reasons" to wage war.

War is a waste of energy, resources and especially souls, but also immanently a part of a society that relies on abundance of "everything" all the time as a principle.

Only when there is perpetual destruction, there are reasons for perpetual recreation of the same old bs, so to say.

It's hard to describe or explain without diving too deep into these seemingly endless rabbit holes of absurdities.

I'm quite sure, you already thought about that one, too.

Insightful.

I have thought about it.

And my best nutshell summary: Patriotism is a blindness.

He went to the western most part where there was never going to be any sign of war and found a few journalists and their crews.

He found very many. But he also didn't find masses of refugees going into Poland. He found very low traffic. He also went to Kiev, which isn't exactly bordering Poland, where life is going on as usual, except for the cops preventing people from filming the streets. But that's not unusual, right?
