Hoppes #9 is the OG. Any gun cleaner should pretty much work on anything.

try hoppe's elite. its non toxic and cleans way better than hoppes 9. hoppes 9 is old tech. also, mpro7 gun cleaner if you can find it. shits very good.

Aw damn, I just bought some Hoppes 9 since that's what everyone says they're using. I also bought Remington Shotgun cleaner to clean and Rem Oil to lubricate.

hoppes 9 will clean fine, its just super toxic. it has trouble getting out super dirty carbon fouling though. the other two i mentioned are very good. best practice is to spray those on liberally and then let sit for a couple mins, then spray again and brush it. hoppes elite and mpro7 are actually like 98% same formula, made by the same company. hoppes elite is just rebranded for hoppes.
