I don't know if these might be easy or difficult or even wanted by everyone, but here they are for your consideration, in no particular order:
Auto-opened images
Maybe it might be nice if [linked text](https://images.com/image.png:open)
were to automatically display the image expanded due to the :open
suffix.
YouTube consistency
This is a major pet peeve of mine. It's bad enough having diverse sites that mirror content, but there are 3 variants for YouTube alone and I would love for them all to be automatically converted/identified as the same (the 3rd just needs to remove the useless "&feature=youtu.be"):
- https://youtu.be/L1nkC0d3H3r3
Block/filter sites
I understand wanting to avoid a sub or a user - how about a site? I would like a way to filter or blacklist a user's unreadable foreign content, sites that advertise, and/or sites that ask you to subscribe - like: baytkoora.blogspot.com
Decentralize non-private info
I'm guessing this is way easier said than done, but I SaidIt anyway. (punny.) I'm hoping that eventually in the SaidIt open-source code you might be able to isolate the private messages, passwords, and/or private subs into a separate database that would NOT be decentralized. Then you could freely share the open database and/or decentralize all the good open stuff (the vast majority). Beyond this super simplified concept I can only speculate how you might actually effectively hook up with other federated instances - so I won't prove my ignorance deeper.
Save messages
I can save incoming messages, yet I cannot "save" my own outgoing private messages.
"Permalink" is the only option.
Personal pages
We've discussed personal/vanity pages so people can share things about themselves, have a reference or home page, or list their interests, hobbies, resume, etc. ie. /u/UserName/wiki On the other hand, I would like to encourage folks to join WikiSpooks and overlap communities and contribute there - where you are welcome to set up your own vanity user page and even do non-statecraft wiki projects under your user page.
Anyway, I have a new angle that might be worth considering... When I come across something great I save it, even though I'm not sure what for other than generally quick reference. It might be nice if folks could share their saved content or parts of it. It would also be great if we could organize it, kind of like bookmarks, but now we're getting into deeper realms, tho maybe there are ways to overlap it with the interactive wiki somehow. I know nothing of what I speak.

Edit: More ideas...

Sort Comments Chronologically
Currently the options are: new, top, insightful, fun.
I find the "new" at least sets a timeline, though it's non-linearly very confusing, and I'd rather just read them in the natural order of events.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
