Decent article, but of course contains the usual "dark side of K-pop" business -- like Hollywood isn't just as bad, but not every article about Hollywood mentions Harvey Weinstein raping people.
Racial dynamics were interesting -- the pictures of the fans were all people of color. But it's hard to believe something in white-dominated America can succeed on non-white people alone.
Also, it's funny that the only viable online opposition to the right-wing white supremacist QAnon should be a fan group made of non-whites following a South Korean pop group.
Where is the mainstream liberal answer to QAnon? Maybe because mainstream liberals are a little white supremacist themselves...
