When women say that they can't get laid, they mean nobody who they think is equal to or greater than their SMV hits on them. When men say they can't laid, they mean literally nobody wants to have sex with them.

There's also a difference in time. One is usual for a period of a few days, the other a lifetime.

Then there's those who promote 'game' for ugly men, that say try hitting upon thousands of thousands of women to see if a rare one gives you the time of day. But probably such a rare woman with such low standards has given herself to dozens of men and has plenty of stds or is mentally unstable.
