Many women wear headphones in public for the sole reason that they do not want men approaching them

In America young women get approached by men so often that it actually is a nuisance, and they need to wear headphones in public (to give the impression that they are listening to music) to prevent guys from trying to start a conversation with them.

This is the society we live in. Every woman has options that are presented to her on a daily basis. If you ever consider approaching a woman, just remember that it would be one among hundreds that she gets, and that she will basically just see you as one of many annoying flies who get in the way of her enjoyment of day to day life.

Honestly, this seems reasonable actually. I do that at my university all the time, I am not even wearing them off, except lectures. Otherwise, people would come just to use me for shit.

I'm sure you don't wear headphones because you don't want members of the opposite sex to talk to you and tell you they like you. I believe some women do it specifically to discourage men from talking to them.

Of course not. The major difference is the expectation - foids expect being approached and they expect interest from opposite sex, I can't expect it so I wear them because the only thing that can be heard by me are calls for help. And I don't want to do it

Ill never forget all the times women harshelly turned me down before I could even ask them out. Like this one time I was in class and I turned around to talk to this girl next to me, and when I was 3 seconds in to talking to her she angrily says "why are you talking to me?!?!". Women commonly "preject" guys they are not attracted to, so that they don't even get the chance to approach them. For example, if a woman notices an incel is standing in her vicinity, she may wander off into some other part of the room. If an incel gazes in her general direction, she will turn her head in the other direction so she doesn't accidentally make eye contact and cause him to think she is attracted to him. It is common for women to make microaggressions towards men they are not attracted to.
