I'm surprised Canada isn't on there.

US population 327 million people + 399 million guns

Canada population 37 million people + ?? million guns

I always thought we had at least as many per capita, though obviously not in the cities.

Might be an inconvenient stat.

Seems I was wrong. We're number 7...

Also the fact authoritarian regimes that hinge on one uber-leader rarely last well beyond the lifespan of that leader. See: Venezuela, North Korea, etc etc
